Green Lake residents enjoy cherries worth $20 while Mount Rainier's glaciers melt due to climate change and Seattle's City Hall Park reopens with new features

Washington state's "ultra premium" cherries, grown in a highly controlled environment and harvested in the middle of the night, are worth $20 or more but are not likely to be found on local grocery store shelves and are instead exported. Meanwhile, warm summers attributed to climate change are being blamed for the disappearance of more glaciers on Mount Rainier, but higher elevation glaciers may still be preserved, and Seattle's City Hall Park has reopened after two years with plans to add more lights, park rangers, and entertainment like buskers and food trucks.
